The 90-Second Opener Builder

Build your interview opener in three moves, then rehearse it against a 90-second timer.

How It Works

Every working opener has a thesis, a proof point, and a bridge. Fill each in and the builder stitches them into a word-for-word script. A 90-second practice timer is built in. Green under 75 seconds means tighten. Yellow from 75 to 90 means rehearse it. Red over 90 means cut.

Build Your Opener in Three Moves

Write each in one or two sentences. Shorter is better.

01
Your Thesis
One sentence.
Good: "I help practice operations teams turn long patient wait times into same-day access."
Weak: "I'm an operations manager with 7 years of experience."
02
Your Proof Point
Concrete beats abstract every time.
Good: "Most recently, I cut prior authorization turnaround from 8 days to 3 across 4 clinics."
Weak: "I've done a lot of successful projects."
03
Your Bridge
Use your pre-interview research here.
Good: "When I saw your team is expanding ambulatory access across three new sites, that is exactly the work I want to own next."
Weak: "I think this company is great and I would love to work here."
