Turn what you did into three versions of a quantified achievement statement: resume bullet, interview line, and LinkedIn summary line.
How It Works
Numbers make achievements land. "Improved denial rates" is forgettable. "Reduced denial rates from 18% to 9% over 90 days" is not. This tool takes your before/after states and generates three versions of your achievement statement, each formatted for a different use case.
1
Describe what you did
Your role, the action you took, and the before and after states in plain language.
2
Add scope context
Team size affected, timeframe, and whether it was individual or team effort.

Instructions: Fill in each card. Be specific about the before and after states. The more precise your inputs, the stronger your output. This tool can be reused for every achievement in your career history.
1
Your Role or Title
WhatYour job title or role when this achievement happened. Used to frame the statement correctly.
WhyThe title gives context for the scope of responsibility. A Director driving a result reads differently than an individual contributor driving the same result.
How to useEnter the title as it appeared on your employment record. Example: "Revenue Cycle Coordinator" or "Clinical Review Specialist."
2
The Action You Took
WhatIn one sentence, what did you do? Start with an action verb. This becomes the core of your resume bullet.
WhyThe action verb sets the tone. "Audited," "built," "redesigned," "implemented," "analyzed" all signal different competencies. The right verb matters.
How to useStart with a past-tense action verb. Example: "Redesigned the prior authorization workflow for outpatient procedures" or "Audited 6 months of denial data across 3 payers."
3
Before State
WhatWhat was the situation or metric before your action? The starting point that shows why the work mattered.
WhyWithout a before state, an achievement has no baseline. "Reduced from X to Y" is always stronger than "reduced by Z%." The contrast is what creates impact.
How to useDescribe the starting condition as specifically as possible. Examples: "denial rate was 18%", "average processing time was 14 days", "team was manually reconciling 200+ claims per week".
4
After State
WhatWhat was the situation or metric after your action? The endpoint that shows what changed.
WhyThis is the result. It is also the number interviewers remember. Be specific. If you do not know the exact number, use "approximately" or a range.
How to useDescribe the outcome. Examples: "denial rate dropped to 9%", "processing time cut to 6 days", "volume reduced to 80 manual reconciliations per week".
5
Timeframe
WhatHow long did it take to achieve the result? This adds credibility and gives the achievement a sense of urgency or efficiency.
Why"Within 60 days" signals speed and focus. "Over two years" signals sustained impact. Both are valuable, just in different ways.
How to useEnter a timeframe. Examples: "within 90 days", "over Q2 and Q3", "within the first six months in the role".
6
Team or People Affected
WhatHow many people were affected by this change? Could be team members you trained, patients whose care improved, staff whose process changed, or accounts touched.
WhyScale matters. A change that affected 3 people is different from one that affected 300. This context elevates the statement when the number is meaningful.
How to useMove the slider to the approximate number. Use 1 if the impact was entirely individual.
People / accounts affected10
150+
7
Individual or Team Effort
WhatWas this primarily something you drove alone, or did you lead or contribute to a team effort?
WhyThe framing changes based on your level of ownership. Solo efforts showcase individual capability. Team efforts showcase leadership or collaboration.
How to useSelect the option that best matches your actual level of contribution.
